Eshani Kaul is a seasoned IP professional with around one and a half decades of distinguished experience in intellectual property law. She is a practicing advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi since 2011.
Her practice encompasses the full spectrum of soft IP services, including trademark prosecution, copyright prosecution, brand protection strategy, IP enforcement, commercial transactions and due diligence for high-stakes mergers and acquisitions. Known for her strategic problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex cross-border IP matters, Eshani brings a client-focused approach that consistently delivers results.
Eshani has advised Fortune 500 companies on comprehensive brand protection strategies, managing complex, high-value portfolios across multiple international markets. She has a proven track record in domain name dispute resolution, having successfully filed numerous UDRP complaints with favourable outcomes. She has also secured Geographical Indication (GI) tags for clients, demonstrating her ability to handle niche and complex IP matters.
Her expertise further extends to drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts — including licensing, assignments, endorsements, co-existence agreements, JVs, and strategic partnerships — as well as conducting IP due diligence for financial institutions and corporate clients.
In the past, Eshani has worked and lead teams at various leading intellectual property law firms. At the firm, she has been associated in the capacity of an Of Counsel since the very inception and is involved in advisory, prosecution and litigation matters related to trademarks, brand protection and copyright, and also handles the firm’s commercial transactions.
When not protecting brands, Eshani can be found chasing her next adventure — whether that’s diving into the deep blue, clocking miles on a run, or exploring new destinations with her four-legged travel buddy. She’s also an avid reader and music enthusiast, and firmly believes that a good playlist and a gym session can fix just about anything.
